Mbale-Uganda, The Umukuuka IV of the Inzu ya Masaaba Cultural Institution, His Highness Mayatsa Joram Khamboson, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to the Bamasaaba Muslim community as they begin the holy month of Ramadan.

In his official message issued in Mbale City, the cultural leader conveyed his blessings on behalf of the Inzu ya Masaaba and in his personal capacity, recognizing Ramadan as a sacred period of fasting, prayer, reflection, and renewed devotion to Allah.
Umukuuka IV described Ramadan as a season that highlights the virtues of self-discipline, humility, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity. He encouraged Muslims across Masaaba land to embrace the true spirit of the holy month by strengthening their faith, promoting peace, upholding family values, and demonstrating love and respect toward their neighbours and the wider community.
He further prayed that the holy month becomes a period of repentance, reconciliation, and spiritual renewal for all believers. The Umukuuka also expressed hope that Allah accepts the fasting, prayers, and good deeds of the faithful, granting them peace, good health, and abundant blessings.
The cultural leader emphasized that the sacred season should inspire unity among the Bamasaaba people and reinforce shared values of respect, harmony, and mutual care.
Ramadan is observed annually by Muslims worldwide as a time of spiritual reflection, community solidarity, and devotion to God.
