UMUKUUKA IV MAYATSA JORAM KHAMBOSON APPLAUDS H.E. PRESIDENT MUSEVENI FOR APPOINTING BAMASAABA LEADERS TO CABINET

The Umukuuka IV of the Bamasaaba, His Highness Mayatsa Joram Khamboson, has applauded H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for appointing Bamasaaba leaders, Hon. Lydia Wanyoto and Hon. Simon Mulongo, to Cabinet positions.

The message was conveyed on behalf of the Umukuuka by the Prime Minister of the Inzu Ya Masaaba Cultural Institution, Mr. Mathias Nabutele, who described the appointments as a great honor not only to the Bamasaaba community but also to the entire Eastern Region.

Speaking on behalf of the cultural institution, Nabutele said the appointments demonstrate the President’s continued confidence in the leadership, loyalty, and service of the Bamasaaba people to the nation.

The Umukuuka noted that the appointments of Hon. Lydia Wanyoto and Hon. Simon Mulongo are a reward for their long-standing commitment, cadreship, patience, discipline, and dedication to the ideals of national unity and development.

He further stated that the elevation of the two leaders to Cabinet is a reflection of the trust the President has in experienced and tested leaders who have consistently served the country with commitment and patriotism.

“The Bamasaaba community is grateful to H.E. President Museveni for recognizing the contribution of our people to national development. These appointments are a sign that patience, loyalty, and hard work are always rewarded,” the statement read.

The cultural institution expressed confidence that Hon. Lydia Wanyoto and Hon. Simon Mulongo will use their vast experience and leadership abilities to effectively serve Ugandans and contribute to the social and economic transformation of the country.

The Umukuuka also called upon the Bamasaaba people to remain united, supportive, and committed to peace and development as the region continues to gain national recognition through capable leadership.

The Inzu Ya Masaaba Cultural Institution wished the newly appointed ministers success as they assume their new responsibilities in Cabinet service to Uganda.
