UMUKUUKA II FOUNDATION COMMITTEE PLANING 1OTH ANNIVERSARY EVENT.
Preparations are underway to celebrate 10 years since Bob Mushikori became umukuuka II of Bamasaaba.

The event shall include
The Bob Mushikori Memorial church service .
The Bob Mushikori Memorial lecture.
The Bob Mushikori charity launch.
He further said all distinguished persons who served under umukuuka mushikori shall be decorated with honour of service excellence at an organised monumental dinner.
Inzu ya Masaaba Promoters,delegates, ministers, clan chairmen, and other historical are earmarked for decoration, a full list and date will be communicated soon.
Bob Mushikori became the new head of Inzu Ya Masaba, the Bamasaba Cultural Institution. Mushikori was elected at Bamasaba Cultural Institution Headquarters in Malukhu in Mbale District on the 28th May 2015
He polled 28 votes beating his closest rival Charles Walimbwa Pekke, the then Manafwa District LC V chairperson who managed 26 votes. Mushikori replaced William Wamimbi, the former Umukuka whose term office is expired
Prior to his election, Mushikori was serving President of North America Masaaba Cultural Association NAMCA 501(c)(3) North American Merican Bamasaaba community association and the Foreign Affairs Minister of Inzu Ya Masaba. Other candidates in the polls included Kiboma Gimugui, a former lecturer at Islamic University in Uganda, Omar from Kenya, and Gregory Kidaguyi Mafabi The electoral college was comprised of 76 representatives of all Bamasaba clans. In his acceptance speech shortly after being declared elect by Augustine Wandede Matanda, the chairperson of Inzu Ya Masaba culture council, Mushikori promised to unite the Bamasaba, foster Education and Health service.
